Lakers Guard Posts Cryptic Message Ahead of Pivotal Free Agency

The Los Angeles Lakers are predicted to make a lot of moves this offseason. They have to reshape the roster and add some fresh power. LeBron James and Anthony Davis won’t go anywhere and the same goes to Russell Westbrook. Russ opted into the final year of his deal with the franchise. What’s next? One Lakers guard delivered a big message heading into free agency.

Kent Bazemore wants to be a Laker and newly added Lakers head coach Darvin Ham could find great use for him.

What does Bazemore’s cryptic tweet mean? NBA players like to spice things up with these cryptic tweets. Bazemore made people talk, but this may be just an attempt to sparkle a rumor.

Lakers guard may leave the team in free agency

The Lakers will probably try to add Bazemore to the roster. His skills are great and we can definitely see Bazemore on the 2022-23 squad. This doesn’t change the fact that Bazemore is getting attention from other teams. The Golden State Warriors found better use for him and this may complicate the situation even more.

Losing a bench player like Bazemore won’t affect the Lakers’ gameplan. Pelinka should pay more attention to Malik Monk. He showed great skills and NBA teams could snatch him right away. Many NBA teams could make better offer than the Lakers.

Bleacher Report from Jake Fischer reported that the Sacramento Kings made a move to sign Monk. Pelinka doesn’t have too much money to work with right now. The Kings could offer big cash without a second thought. Monk is coming off of a good season and he deserves a big paycheck. The Lakers are rebuilding the team and Monk will have a key role on the modified roster.

“It’s a very different situation than the Lakers, but I know that there’s mutual interest,” Fischer told Marc Stein. “The one team I’ve heard to look out for for him not to go to Lakers is the Sacramento Kings.”

Where will Bazemore go next? Will he stay in Los Angeles? Will he get more money?
