Lakers Superstar LeBron James is Officially a Billionaire

The Los Angeles Lakers have the best basketball player on the roster. LeBron James has accomplished more than any other athlete in the NBA and he is also a billionaire. Congratulations, King James!

LeBron has earned a lot of money in his career. He received a lot of millions for his impeccable game. Well, LeBron has great endorsement deals, too. He had a good deal with Coca Cola, but his deal ended and he inked a new deal with Pepsi. LeBron joined Blaze Pizza and is a part owner of Liverpool.

“After another monster year of earnings–totaling $121.2 million last year–Forbes estimates that James has officially become a billionaire, while still playing hoops,” Chase Peterson-Withorn wrote.

“The 37-year-old superstar has a net worth of $1 billion, by Forbes’ count. James, who’s missing the playoffs for just the fourth time in 19 seasons, is the first active NBA player to make the billionaires list. (Michael Jordan, the only other basketball billionaire, didn’t hit ten figures until 2014, more than a decade after he retired, thanks to a well-timed investment in the Charlotte Hornets basketball team.)”

LeBron James became billionaire with minimum effort!

LeBron won’t retire in the near future, meaning he will get even more money in the next few seasons. He is set to become a free agent in 2023 and the Lakers will probably make a big offer. LeBron may also sign a deal with another team.

Nike offered LeBron a lifelong deal. He will earn one billion! Several brands offered him a deal, but King James dropped a decision. His deal with Nike turned out to be a nice move and fans got a chance to get some cool shoes.

Becoming a billionaire will definitely motivate LeBron to try even harder. He moved his business to Los Angeles and it was a real decision for the king of basketball. If LeBron signs with another team, he will have to move his office again. We have a feeling that this won’t happen. LeBron is happy with his current team and that’s the only thing that matters.
