LeBron James Reveals Why He’d Plan a Media Career

LeBron James surprises us with every move he makes and his most recent comments were related to his potential media career. Tom Brady got a monster deal with Fox News and he will start his new job following his retirement from the NFL. Everyone is so interested if LeBron plans to do the same thing. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar received an interesting question about his postretirement career.

LeBron’s longtime business associate and dear friend Maverick Carter asked the king of basketball if he would pursue media opportunities in his post-NBA life.

“Would you be on a desk? … Like when Tom Brady signed up for TV, were you like ‘Mm, maybe I should?’” Carter asked.

“I don’t know. I’m watching that stuff a little bit,” James replied when asked if he’d consider a career in media. “When I saw how much Tom Brady signed for, you’re god damn right I did.”

LeBron James to have huge success in his media career

Carter wanted to know more and he sort of pushed LeBron to give him a better response.

“I mean one, my knowledge of the sport and being able to have my insight on the sport and still be around the game. I wanna stay around the game for sure, forever.”

Fair enough?

LeBron will soon enter his 20th season in the NBA. Age has nothing on him and he is doing a wonderful job. Maybe the king of basketball will pursie his career in the media. This would be a really good opportunity for LeBron because he will have a chance to stick to his game without even being directly involved in it.

The Lakers hope to see the best of LeBron in the upcoming season. The team is coming off of a terrible season. Pelinka and his team will try to pack the roster with talent and give LeBron the right teammates. King James came to LA to win games. He didn’t have a chance to do so in this past season. Let’s see what happens in the upcoming season. We have a few potential scenarios to discuss right now.
