Lakers Owner Jeanie Buss Went Off About Cryptic Kobe Bryant Tweet & LeBron James

Jeanie Buss shocked the entire NBA world with her cryptic tweet about Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant and many thought she was taking a jab at LeBron James. The Lakers are coming off of a terrible season and a lot of fans believe that the four-time NBA champion will take his talent somewhere else.

Buss and Magic Johnson tried really hard to get LeBron. They signed him on the first day of free agency and LeBron told the world that he plans to retire as a Laker.

So, why did Buss tweeted this on July 4?

“I miss KB. He would understand and explain everything that I’m not allowed to. Honestly he was the greatest Laker ever. He understood team over self. Meaning your rewards would come if you valued team goals over your own then everything would fall into place. All can reply.”

Jeanie Buss respects LeBron James

Buss talked to Mark Medina these days and tried to make things clearer.

“No. It was that my heart was full of sadness,” Buss told Medina. “You look to people surrounding you that feel the same way to commiserate. That’s all it was. It wasn’t intended at anything other than I had sorrow in my heart and I was trying to lighten my load.”

The Lakers had another terrible season, but they are ready to win a title. Buss has nothing but praise for her superstar. Moreover, she said LeBron was the most important voice on her team and the NBA.

“He’s the highest profile player in the game right now, and he’s on our team,” Buss told Medina about James and Klutch Sports. “We’re one of the highest profile teams in the league. That’s what people see because he draws so much attention. But I have relationships with all the players and all the agents. It just seems people want to focus on that relationship. He’s the most important voice on our team and our league.”

The 2021-22 NBA season was really disappointing. The front office made some changes, but this wasn’t enough to lead the team to a title. Buss was really disappointed and a lot of fans feel the same way.

The Lakers have Darvin Ham as head coach for the new season. Hopefully, this change at head coach will make things easier for everyone, including Russell Westbrook.
