Patriots Malcolm Butler Mocks Bill Belichick at Training Camp

Malcolm Butler has a chance to play for Bill Belichick again and his performance at training camp says it all. The New England Patriots offered him a deal after the infamous benching in the Super Bowl. He was one of the better players at this position and the Patriots wanted to sign him again. Several analysts thought that Butler won’t survive the final roster trimming, but it seems like Belichick has a plan for him.

Patriots players started training camp and had their second practice. Talented players flashed their dominance once again. The defense did a wonderful job in practice. Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe had 10 straight incompletions. Hunter Henry was able to catch a touchdown and Belichick decided to punish his players for the “mistake”. Defensive players did 10 pushups and Butler offered an explanation for the situation.

“Man, I don’t know man. Looks like Bill Belichick is an offensive coach now. He ain’t on our side no more,” Butler said. “But no matter if we hold those guys out of the red zone, I think we lost the one that counted the most. Championship defense. We’re going to compete, we’re going to finish to the end.”

It’s just a joke. Butler poked fun at his head coach and it was hilarious.

Malcolm Butler joins Bill Belichick, Patriots players for successful training camp

The Patriots defense is doing a really good job in training camp. This should be a warning for every NFL team out there. It was an impressive performance and Belichick likes what he sees from his players. Training camp will help him gather players who can help the team do better than stacking a seven-game winning record.

Butler enjoys his time with the Patriots and teammates like his jokes. Fancy some skittles?

“It worked out good for us,” Butler said. “We’ll get some skittles and some snickers for the good job we’ve done.”

The Patriots are entering a really important season and everyone has to show their best skills. Jones is establishing strong connection with his teammates. It will be a wild run mostly because doubters can’t wait to see him make a mistake.
