Lakers Willing To Up Trade Offer For Controversial $136 Million Star

The Los Angeles Lakers have plenty of time to revamp their roster and sign more efficient players. The Lakers front office has been linked to several top players and now they may trade for a talented star. Fun fact? They can come up with a decent offer for the player.

LeBron James would definitely approve this trade. He would gladly reunite with Kyrie Irving. The Brooklyn Nets are having a situation with their veteran and the list of inconveniences seems to be really long. Irving has shown great interest in teaming up with his former teammate, too.

Lakers to make good trade offer for the Nets star

Trade rumors got stuck in the middle of nowhere and both the Lakers and Nets have yet to make a move. The New York Daily News suggested that the Lakers may soon up their trade offer for Irving. They’d send Russell Westbrook and a couple of first-round picks (2027 and 2029) to get Irving.

LA and Brooklyn will have to find a third team to make this deal happen.

The Nets are also looking for a trade partner for Kevin Durant. Steve Bulpett reported that they want to move on from Irving. Adding LA to the mix makes perfect sense. Brooklyn may accept the next trade offer from the Lakers. They’d never give Irving up for nothing in return.

“The Nets would love to be out of that situation but they don’t want to give him up for nothing and what’s his true value?” Bulpett said in a video interview. “It would appear that whatever you can get in return, from everything I am gathering talking to teams, what you can get in return for Kyrie Irving is not nearly matched by his talent. But then, how often is his talent on the court? Last year, he found a couple different ways to miss games.

“You’re always going to deal with that with Kyrie. I am not sure he is ever going to be in a place where he is happy, comfortable, peaceful for a long period of time.”
