Wild LeBron James, Anthony Davis Fact Goes Viral

LeBron James and Anthony Davis did a lot of great things together. They led the Los Angeles Lakers to a title in the 2020 NBA season. The Lakers won a title in the middle of a pandemic and it was a great accomplishment for every member of the Lakers family. LA beat the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals and earned a trophy.

It was the beginning of a new era for the purple and gold. Unfortunately, things didn’t go really well for the team. The Lakers were eliminated from the first round of the playoffs the following year. They didn’t even make the playoffs this year.

LeBron and AD sustained serious injuries and missed many games. The team struggled to win games without both LeBron and Davis.

The Lakers front office made a lot of changes to fix the roster and bring players who can actually contribute to the game. It didn’t work. Players were in and out and LeBron and AD have signed extensions with the team. Fun fact? They are the only players from the championship winning team who are still part of the Lakers.

The 2020 season was tough. NBA teams struggled with outbreaks and players had to isolate themselves from their teammates. LA finished the season with a title. It was time for a change and Avery Bradley left the team as a free agent. Rajon Rondo and Dwight Howard did the same. Danny Green and JaVale McGee found homes somewhere else.

Pelinka traded Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Kyle Kuzma to get Russell Westbrook from the Washington Wizards. Alex Caruso left the team to sign with the Chicago Bulls. Markieff Morris is no longer a Laker, too.

Talen Horton-Tucker stayed with the Lakers for two more seasons, but the front office traded him to get Patrick Beverley.

LeBron and AD will play with a bunch of new guys in the upcoming season. Hopefully, the new roster will do much better than the 2021-22 Lakers squad. Will the new team make the playoffs?
