Lakers’ LeBron James’ Viral Comments About Blockbuster Trade Stirs Speculation

LeBron James has been making headlines from the very first moment he joined the NBA. He is on his third team now and his game is still sharp. Let’s just say it’s as sharp as it used to be a few years ago. King James may be 37, but his elite basketball keeps shocking doubters. Now we have people saying that LeBron would end up somewhere else through a blockbuster trade.

It goes all the way to Cleveland. The Cavaliers are getting Donovan Mitchell. LeBron was here to watch the move and he applauded his former team for getting such an excellent player.

Guess what… Fans took notice of the comments LeBron made and yes, it was more than enough for them to sparkle a debate. Some of them want the king of basketball to join the Cavaliers.

Will LeBron agree to a blockbuster trade?

The four-time NBA champion inked a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. He was set to become a free agent in 2023, but now he can enter the open market in 2024. This deal makes perfect sense and LeBron has plenty of time to get ready for his next challenge. He wants to play on the same team with his oldest son Bronny, remember?

When it comes to Cleveland, LeBron didn’t really ignore the idea of putting on a Cavaliers uniform.

“The door’s not closed on that,” LeBron told Jason Lloyd from The Athletic. “I’m not saying I’m coming back and playing, I don’t know. I don’t know what my future holds. I don’t even know when I’m free. … I think Koby (Altman) and those guys have done an unbelievable job drafting and making trades. I think big fella (Allen), that acquisition was amazing for them to make that trade. Obviously, Darius Garland is a big-time player. And I think the role that Kevin (Love) is playing right now has kind of uplifted those young guys, seeing a veteran that could sacrifice, a champion that’s won a championship, all the things that he’s done, to come off the bench and play this role. I am not surprised by anything that they’re doing right now.”
