Mac Jones’ NSFW Sideline Explosion Detailed

The New England Patriots didn’t add another win to their chart as they lost the Week 3 game to the Baltimore Ravens. It was an ugly loss, but this loss isn’t the only problem players had to deal with. Mac Jones sustained a serious high-ankle sprain and his NSFW language says it all. Did he really use NSFW words at the sideline?

Jones was screaming in pain on his way out of the field. He couldn’t put any weight on his leg. His injury was serious and Jones has to miss some time. How many games will he miss? We don’t know.

Mac Jones uses NSFW words after ugly play

The Patriots quarterback threw three interceptions and one of these caught everyone’s attention. The NFL world placed the blame on him and DeVante Parker. Jones will probably say it’s Parker’s fault. Fans spotted the young quarterback screaming “f****** Cover-4. What the f***?”

Did he really say this?

Zack Cox from NESN reported that Jones first said, “number 4.” A Twitter user had something else to say. According to him, Jones said, “cover 4.”

Taylor Kyles from NextGenStats says Jones actually said “cover-0”. In other words, the quarterback was actually trying to say there was no deep safety help.

Parker had a decent game with the Patriots. He had 156 yards receiving and it was a good performance for the veteran wideout. Parker talked about the interception and the play and said that it was actually a big “miscommunication.” Of course, he didn’t place the blame on Jones. He said, “I’ll just say there was a miscommunication on that. It’s just something we’ll fix.”

Jones’ injury is the biggest concern on Bill Belichick’s table right now. Losing his starting quarterback is a big blow for the team. Who will replace Jones? It’s probably Brian Hoyer. However, several analysts bet on Bailey Zappe. This goes in favor of those who believe that the rookie quarterback is a better option than Jones. Let’s see how things roll. The Patriots have a few days to make a decision.
