Lakers Star Anthony Davis Reacts To Concerns After Latest Injury

The Los Angeles Lakers lost another game and shooting is not the only problem players have. Anthony Davis gave fans a big scare and NBA analysts have some concerns about his most recent injury.

The Lakers big man has a history of injuries but he used his offseason to recover and get ready for the new challenge.

It didn’t go that well. Davis entered the season with a back issue and it got worse in the loss to the Denver Nuggets. The big man played 36 minutes in the game and delivered 22 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, and two block. These numbers are great, but AD injured himself in the second half of the game.

Davis received a few questions about his injury and he is an optimist. AD may not miss any time in the near future. He will continue doing his job on the basketball court.

“It feels good. I got hit in the back and it irritated it again. But I’ll be fine,” Davis said. “I just have to keep it loose. I’m going to get irritated but when I’m on the floor, I’m trying to focus on playing — not worrying about it.”

Darvin Ham has no concerns about Anthony Davis and his injury

The Lakers head coach is an optimist. He can see Davis perform at a high level without a problem.

“He’s fine. He’s fine,” Ham said. “He wouldn’t have been able to finish the game — getting that shot in the back, we were all a little nervous at that point in time but he was able to get through the game and give us a lot of good production. But he’s fine.”

The Lakers have to find a solution to their shooting struggles. They shot just 26% from deep and added another loss to their chart.

“We gave up a lot of points in transition. We were much better on the defensive end than it showed tonight,” Davis said. “Were not doing what we were supposed to do defensively.”

Let’s see how things roll in the upcoming game.
