Lakers Head Coach Darvin Ham Sounds Off On Anthony Davis

The Los Angeles Lakers added one win to their chart and this particular win will motivate players to do better next time. Lakers head coach Darvin Ham is here to motivate everyone to do their best and he has just delivered a big message for Anthony Davis.

AD may have missed time but his head coach has nothing but praise for him. Ham praised Davis for his competitiveness and his desire to embrace whatever coaches throw at him. The big man sustained an injury and his history of injuries has been quite an obstacle, but he is doing a really good job on the floor.

“He wants to dispel that myth that he’s never available. He’s had some unfortunate injuries over the last couple of years, but I can tell you right now, he’s been nothing short of monstrous since I’ve shown up. Everything we’ve thrown at him, he’s embraced it…He’s determined to be there for us this year. Highly competitive. Dealing with a lot of back pain, but he’s not in a space where he can injure himself, the injury is what it is, we’ve just gotta manage it and make sure we keep him as fresh as possible.”

Darvin Ham doesn’t have to worry about Anthony Davis

Davis has an incredible season, averaging 23.8 points, 10.6 rebounds, two assists, 2.4 steals, and two blocks per game while going 58% from two-point range. Ham is not lying. If Davis manages to stay healthy, he will have one of the best seasons in his career.

Lakers fans are a bit concerned about Davis’ health and his dominance on the court, but the Lakers superstar is here to slam critics.

“It feels good. I got hit in the back and it irritated it again. But I’ll be fine…I just have to keep it loose,” AD said. “I’m going to get irritated but when I’m on the floor, I’m trying to focus on playing — not worrying about it.”

AD missed the loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves and returned right back on time. He led the Lakers to a beautiful win over the Denver Nuggets.
