LeBron James Turns Heads With Message To Former Teammate

LeBron James makes headlines with every word he drops and this time he mentioned a former teammate. Any guesses?

It goes all the way to Russell Westbrook. The Los Angeles Lakers traded a big chunk of their roster and he didn’t offer anything in return. Westbrook’s first season with the Lakers can be described as a struggle. The veteran couldn’t fit in the system and shot too many “bricks”. Fans, obviously, were really disappointed. A lot of people wanted him out of LA. It didn’t happen.

The Lakers traded Kyle Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope for Westbrook. It was a terrible move. An unsuccessful experiment. Kuzma had his struggles, but he had a lot to offer and the Lakers sent him away.

This trade turned out to be a good change for Kuzma. He had great debut with the Washington Wizards, averaging 17.1 points per game. It was a new beginning for him and he felt comfortable in his new home.

LeBron James fuel fire with the comments on his former teammate

Lakers fans were a bit concerned about Kuzma’s performance in his final year with the Lakers, but they’d gladly have him back.

LeBron James is definitely a fan of the former Laker. He never misses an opportunity to praise his former teammate. He really misses playing with him.

Will Kuzma ever put a Lakers jersey on? The Wizards have to win more games. If they fail to win, the front office may decide to make some changes. These changes include trading some of their players, including Kuz.

LeBron’s tweet definitely added fuel to the fire. There were numerous suggestions and potential trade proposals. Does Rob Pelinka want Kuzma back? He knows the system. Now may be the perfect time to give him another chance.

The Lakers lost five straight games and added two wins to their chart. Westbrook became a bench player and he seems to have embraced his new role. It is not like he had an option. Darvin Ham had a plan for him and this is the result. Russ is not even mad. What about Kuzma’s return? The Lakers can always add a familiar name to the mix.
