Chris Paul Sends Bold Message To LeBron James After Latest Lakers Trade Rumors

Chris Paul heard all the trade rumors about LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers and has something to say about those who criticize the king of basketball. His reaction is priceless. The Lakers have enough strength to win games, but they struggle a lot this season. LeBron has great performance and his game is impeccable. However, his frustration grows every day.

This doesn’t change the fact that NBA fans praise him for his next personal record. LeBron will soon pass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on the all-time scoring list. Paul is impressed! I mean, you don’t get to accomplish this every day.

“It’s crazy,” Paul said. “There’s been a lot of basketball played. Since we was in eighth grade, Nationals, and all that. You dream and hope to want to do this. I remember us being on vacation with Melo [Carmelo Anthony] and D-Wade [Dwyane Wade], we sort of talked about this years ago, and for him to finally be here just shows the longevity, the commitment to every day, to being prepared, being ready. It’s going to be dope.

“I was hoping we weren’t gonna have a game on the day he broke the record so I could try to be there, but the dates don’t align right now. But yeah, it’s going to be dope. He’s going to shatter that record. Kind of like Steph [Stephen Curry] doing the three-point thing, he’s going to shatter it.”

Chris Paul’s relationship with LeBron James fuels trade rumors

A lot of fans wanted to see LeBron and Paul on the same team. However, they didn’t get to share the same locker room over the years. Some fans still believe that Paul would soon join the Lakers.

Eric Pincus from Bleacher Report was among the first to discuss this possibility. According to him, Paul could help the Lakers win games in the playoffs. Paul’s great connection with LeBron would make things easier for everyone. Will the Lakers even try their chances with Paul? He could be the best addition to the team. Him and LeBron could do wonders and this would take the whole game to another level.
