Lakers Superstar Anthony Davis ‘Definitely Hurting’ After Latest Injury Status

Anthony Davis is prone to injuries and the Los Angeles Lakers know it really well. The Lakers superstar missed many games due to his injuries and fans are really worried about his latest injury status.

The Lakers celebrated their third win in the series against the Memphis Grizzlies. However, Davis was really bothered by a hip injury. It’s an old issue, but Davis sure reaggravated it. He played 42 minutes in the game, delivering 12 points, 13 rebounds, four blocks and two steals.

“He’s hanging in there man,” Lakers head coach Darvin Ham said after the game. “He’s definitely hurting but it’s not something that’s going to keep him out. We just have to manage it the best we can and it’s constant round-the-clock treatment.”

Davis is really confident about his health and he doesn’t expect to miss any time in the playoffs.

“I just wanted to play,” the big man said. “It’s been bothering me for probably like a week-and-a-half. But there was no way I was coming out. Just trying to give what I could to the team. I’ll be fine, though. We do what we’re supposed to do Wednesday, then I get a couple days to let it calm down and get back to normal. But take care of it tonight, tomorrow and get ready for Wednesday’s game.”

Anthony Davis will do wonders despite his latest injury status

The Lakers have listed Davis as probably for the upcoming game. His teammates will need his brilliance in the game and hopefully, AD will be able to join his teammates.

Davis may not be 100% ready for the game, but LeBron James is here to step in as a leader. The four-time NBA champion carried the team on his back. It’s not like he minds doing this.

“I just try to be as great as I can be offensively, but more importantly on the defensive end,” James said after the game. “That was the mindset tonight. I was able to make a couple of plays. … My teammates told me I had 20 and 20. It’s the first time I’ve done it in my career, so that’s pretty cool, I guess.”
