Lakers Superstar Anthony Davis Reveals Status Vs. Grizzlies After New Injury

Los Angeles Lakers big man Anthony Davis was cut above his right eye in the loss to the Memphis Grizzlies and fans are worried about his injury.

Davis is prone to injuries and has missed a lot of time in the last few seasons. Will he lose more time?

Absolutely not.

The Lakers big man plans to suit up for the upcoming game against the Grizzlies. He didn’t play his best basketball in Game 2 of the series, but promised a strong game in Game 3.

“Looking forward to it, wish we could play them tomorrow,” Davis said in the postgame press conference. “[We’ll] get home [get] a couple days rest, a couple days of film and I’ll be ready for Game 3 for sure.”

AD delivered 13 points, eight rebounds, and five blocks while going 4-of-14 from the field. Did this cut impact his game? Of course not. AD had a bad game and that’s all.

The injury won’t stop Davis and Lakers players in the series against the Grizzlies

The Lakers may have lost the game, but they are a 4.5-point favorite over the Grizzlies. Well, Grizzlies players seem to be confident about their game and Dillon Brooks even had the courage to call out LeBron.

“I don’t care, he’s old,” Brooks told the media on April 19 when asked about his Game 2 exchange with James. “I was expecting him to do that Game 4 or Game 5. He wanted to say something when I got my fourth foul. He should have been saying that earlier on.

“I poke bears. I don’t respect no one until they come and give me 40. Pride myself on what I do [which is] defense and taking on any challenge that’s on the board.”

Lakers head coach Darvin Ham knows that his team made some mistakes in the game. He said players were “a little bit lethargic” in the first quarter of the night.

It was a just a loss and Lakers players are motivated to win. There’s no room for panic and things look good for the purple and gold.
