LeBron James Sends Message On Rui Hachimura After Lakers Defeat Timberwolves

The Los Angeles Lakers added another win to their chart. The team beat the Minnesota Timberwolves and made a difference in the Western Conference standings. Rui Hachimura had an impact on the Lakers win and LeBron James praised his effort.

Head coach Darvin Ham didn’t have a big role for Hachimura. However, the talented player did his best to deliver a decent performance off the bench. Hachimura finished the game with four points, six rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block on 1-of-4 shooting from the field and 0-of-2 shooting from deep.

“It changed the game. That third quarter changed the game,” LeBron said via the NBA Interviews YouTube channel. “D [Schroder] is picking up full court and creating a steal. Got a steal, got an and-one on the other end, and then was able to get another deflection and create an over-and-back on [Karl-Anthony] Towns. So, it was big-time for us. And D has been doing that all year. And Rui’s been great for us when his moment has been called, and he was huge for us tonight.”

LeBron, Hachimura, other Lakers players tried really hard to win this one

LeBron played well as always. He finished the night with 18 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, one steal, and two blocks on 7-of-19 shooting from the floor and 1-of-3 shooting from distance.

Lakers players did an excellent job against the Timberwolves. D’Angelo Russell offered details of the way LA shut down their opponents. It was great team effort and players understood the assignment. Going against a strong defensive system wasn’t easy, but LA came out of the game as a winner.

There isn’t much time left and the Lakers have to take care of the remaining games on their schedule. They beat the Timberwolves and now they have to beat every other team.

One thing stands for sure. Lakers players worked really hard to improve their chemistry and the results are obvious. It’s much easier when you have a group of highly motivated guys who try really hard to win the game. It’s all about winning at this point of the season.
