Robert Kraft Appears With Celebrity Linked To Major QB Trade Rumors

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and celebrity friend Meek Mill were spotted at the March of the Living in Poland, fueling an old trade rumor.

Lamas Jackson has been linked to the Patriots for quite some time. Mill told the Patriots owner that the Baltimore Ravens quarterback would love to play with the Patriots. It’s interesting to note that Jackson turned down $200 million guaranteed last season.

Chad Graff from The Athletic reported that the Patriots aren’t interested in getting the Ravens signal-caller. Head coach Bill Belichick has two quarterback options on his roster. Mac Jones had a bad season with the Patriots and Bailey Zappe could snatch his job. There are some major issues related to the Patriots quarterback unit, but Belichick is “not in on Lamar Jackson.”

Belichick tried to shop Johnson this offseason and talked to four teams. He did an effort but the Alabama quarterback is still part of his team. Bill O’Brien’s arrival in New England could be a game-changer for the Patriots. He knows Jones and the young quarterback helped him make a decision. Jones is really excited about working with the legendary coach. Jones was bad in year two with the Patriots, but O’Brien could help him elevate his game in the upcoming season.

Mill and Kraft are really close. The Patriots owner advocated for his release from prison in 2017.

Kraft and his celebrity friend have to take a different approach to the potential trade

The Patriots have enough time to handle their issues. According to Graff, the team will keep Jones at quarterback. He believes that the Patriots don’t even think of selecting a quarterback at the 2023 NFL Draft.

“Barring something unforeseen, Jones will be the Patriots’ starting quarterback in Week 1. The Patriots likely have gone too far into the offseason to make a change at the game’s most important position,” Graff wrote. “They’re not in on Lamar Jackson and they’re not expected to select a quarterback early in the NFL Draft, which begins April 27.”

When it comes to Kraft, he likes Jones. The Alabama quarterback didn’t find mutual language with Joe Judge and Matt Patricia, but O’Brien could push him into the right direction.
