The police has no information on Brown.

Report on the missing Patriots player

Bleacher Nation has a report on Brown’s case, sharing a few details related to it.

“According to local authorities, Brown has been reported missing by family members, who have not been able to contact him since sometime Friday. The body of his mother, Myrtle Brown, was found in Addison Creek near her home in Maywood on Saturday afternoon,” Bleacher Nation reported.

“As of late Saturday afternoon, Maywood police and surrounding suburban agencies were on scene searching the Addison Creek and investigating the area. Early Saturday, family members attempted to contact the Maywood Police Department and the neighboring Melrose Park Police Department — through which that section of the creek also runs — to report the son and mother missing.”

The safety played for several NFL teams

Brown went undrafted in 2010 and the Patriots decided to give him a chance. The safety didn’t make the 53-man roster but played his first NFL game in October of the same year. In his debut, Brown delivered four tackles. In 2010, Brown was the starting strong safety for the Patriots and they waived him next season.

Brown made a few stops in the NFL and spent time with the Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, Atlanta Falcons, and the Buffalo Bills. He played college football at the University of Notre Dame.

Judging by Brown’s social media activity, we know that he kept in touch with the football community and hosted camps for kids.
