Tom Brady Breaks His Silence, Finally Addresses Gisele’s Concussion Claim

Fans are still talking about the NFL offseason mysteries, including the one about Tom Brady and his concussion. This happened during the 2016 season, and Brady’s wife, Gisele Bundchen, talked about it.

The gorgeous model went on CBS This Morning in May, and opened up about his concussion, she also said that her husband had multiple concussions during his sports career.

Brady never talked about this publicly. It was just his agent that responded to the claim. What did Brady do? He said nothing.

The Patriots had five practices, and reporters could ask questions after each session. However, Brady turned down all the requests for an interview. This didn’t stop the media from opening the story. Once again.

Now Brady decided to tell his side of the story, and had an interview with ESPN’s E:60. The interview happened during Tom Brady’s tour of Asia.

Kevin Negandhi said the question straight.

“[Gisele] sees the hits, she was vocal about that, most recently on CBS about the concussions, how much do you talk to her about those hits that you take?” he asked.

“She’s there every day. I mean, we go to bed in the same bed every night, so I think she knows when I’m sore, she knows when I’m tired, she knows when I get hit. We drive home together [from games]. But, she also knows how well I take care of myself. She’s a very concerned wife and very loving,” Brady responded.

It’s more than clear that Brady wasn’t willing to deny Gisele’s words. So, he just said that she knows him better than anyone. Brady didn’t dispute anything Gisele said in her interview. But, he didn’t confirm anything either.

The issue was investigated in May, and there was “no record” about Brady’s concussion in 2016.

When asked about retirement, Brady picked the right response. “She’ll support me as long as I continue to want to play. She’s like my mom, the two of them together sitting next to each other in the suite watching me get hit all day, I’m sure it’s not fun, but they know how well I take care of myself, too,” Brady said of Gisele.
