It’s Official: LeBron James Signs Four Year Deal With Los Angeles Lakers

LeBron James made his final decision, and Los Angeles will be his next destination. It seems like the Los Angeles Lakers finally managed to attract his full attention. King James decided to make his next step forward, and oh yes, fans are super happy.

There was much speculation over LeBron’s free agency. Many thought that he’d just spend another year with the Cleveland Cavaliers. James decided to opt out of the last year of his contract with the Cavs. He put an end to the speculation, and joined the Lakers.

LeBron’s agency Klutch Sports Group announced the official information about his contract with the Lakers. The NBA star will head to the big city, and his four-year max contract is worth $154.

“LeBron James, four time NBA MVP, three time NBA finals MVP, fourteen time NBA All Star, and two time Olympic gold medalist has agreed to a four year, $154 million contract with the Los Angeles Lakers,” the announcement read.

This decision was speculated for months. We saw James’ agents meeting with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Philadelphia 76ers. But, none of the teams managed to land LeBron, because he has his eyes set on Los Angeles.

The next period is more than important. King James will have to show if he has enough strength to take on the Golden State Warriors. He’s now residing in the same conference as King James. LeBron seems more than confident to follow the steps of Magic Johnson. The pursuit of Kawhi Leonard is also here, and let’s not forget the rest of the stars who will surround the 3-time MVP.

“LeBron James has agreed to 4-year, $154M deal with Lakers, Klutch Sports says,” Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted.

LeBron didn’t go for a dramatic announcement. There was no televised piece, and it’s just business. We’re looking forward to some major events.
