Draymond Green Explains How LeBron Cemented Himself as Best Player in NBA (Video)

We all know that the Cleveland Cavaliers viewed the Golden State Warriors as their primary NBA rival. What about Draymond Green?

Draymond Green was probably the most despised basketball player on the team. Green is one of the greatest players in the Cavs team, and he has great respect for LeBron James. That happened on the recent episode of HBO’s “The Shop.”

When Maverick Carter asked Green if LeBron can consider himself the best basketball player ever, he gave the most unexpected answer ever.

“I think you should say that. I think you should believe that. And you should definitely let the world know that. I think Bron over the last four years became LeBron James. And it wasn’t nothing to do with winning and it wasn’t nothing to do with stats. He found himself,” Green said.

“People didn’t start to view him as they view him now, until he became that force, that man to say, ‘I’m here.’ I feel like for years, he shied away from saying ‘I’m here.’ And when he started to say, ‘F*** you all, I’m here.’ That’s when he became who he is, and no one would ever said that until he did it himself,” he added.

“Motherf***ers f***ed with Mike because Mike was like, ‘I’m Mike with my hoop earring. F*** all y’all, I’m here.’ And until he did that, that’s when he became the figurehead that he is. So many people shy away from that and that’s why they never reach their full potential.”\

Green is right, but we never expected that a Cavalier would praise King James this way. It’s nice to hear his former teammates talk about LeBron with respect. Yes, he deserves all the respect in this world, and his fans are well aware of his power on the basketball court.
