LeBron James Takes Time to Apologize To Savannah For His Addiction

Yes, the king of basketball has an addiction, and no, it’s not what you were thinking.

LeBron James didn’t have the happiest childhood ever. He was raised by a single mom, and she even had to send him to another family. King James comes from Akron, a small town in Ohio. He didn’t have a father figure, and here’s the part where we’d take you to his addiction.

It’s no longer a secret that LeBron James shed a tear on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air episode when Will sees his father, and then loses him.

LeBron went on the Road Trippin’ podcast, and talked to Richard Jefferson, Channing Frye, and Allie Clifton. “Every single time, I shed a tear. It could come from obviously me being part of a single-parent household and never seeing my father and things growing up when I was a kid, but it’s just an emotional part,” LeBron said.

King James talked about his wife Savannah. He apologized to her and thanked her for everything she has done for their cute little family.

“I am addicted to the process. I’m addicted to the process. It’s so funny. I just told my wife the other day, I apologized to her. She was like ‘What are you apologizing for?’ I said ‘Because the journey that I’m on to want to be the greatest to ever play this game or to the point where no one ever forgets what I accomplished, I’ve at times lost the fact of how important you are to this whole thing. … I want you to understand that along this journey while I’m playing this game there will be times that I lose the fact of how important you and my three kids are – my babies are,’” LeBron said.

That’s how real men talk. You’re the best, LeBron!
