Shocking Update On Tom Brady’s Deflategate Scandal
While everyone thought that the dust has settled regarding the Deflategate scandal, new details have emerged and they’re truly shocking.
After the Patriots decided to give up the fight and accept the NFL’s Deflategate punishment, Tom Brady had no other choice but to serve his four-game suspension and then return to lead New England to another Super Bowl. At least, that’s what we believed was the case.
As it turns out, Brady HAD a choice. The five-time champion was reportedly offered the chance to avoid missing time on the field… on one condition.
A recently released book titled ’12: The Inside Story of Tom Brady’s Fight for Redemption,’ a stunning revelation points the finger at the NFL, claiming they offered Brady a $1 million fine instead of a suspension. All he had to do was to throw the equipment workers under the bus.
Brady, however, refused to place the blame on someone else.

This scandal will put a huge stain on the NFL, considering the way the league handled this dilemma.
On a different note, TB12 made a very noble decision to keep Jim McNally and John Jastremski in the clear.
If this is true, it’s fairly significant. New DeflateGate book says that Goodell would’ve let Brady off with only a $1m fine … if he threw McNally/Jastremski under the bus. Book says Brady said no. https://t.co/KekBWz3AUi

This explains a lot of things, including the reason why Brady was so motivated to steamroll any competitor who stood in his way on the road to another New England championship.
It would be interesting to see how the NFL would try to get out of this.
