Report: LeBron James And Lonzo Ball Growing Closer

LeBron James came to Los Angeles to join a team comprised by a bunch of young players. But, he wasn’t even worried about it. Many were convinced that LeBron won’t find a mutual language with the young talents, but it seems like he already has a favorite player. The friendship between Lonzo Ball and LeBron James has been making headlines since the very first moment King James came to town. The Anthony Davis saga may be the reason LA missed the playoffs, but it’s also the reason for the stronger relationship between Lonzo and LeBron.

Lonzo had to deal with a few problems, and one of them includes his family business. Former business partner Alan Foster is alleged to have stolen $1.5 million from the player, and now Lonzo is doing his best to control his own career. LeBron knows how to do business, and we have several sources confirming his involvement in the process. Ramona Shelburne, Lonzo and LeBron are really close now.

“From what I’ve heard, ever since this happened with Lonzo and firing of Alan Foster and the destruction or whatever is going to be left of Big Baller Brand, I have heard that LeBron has really reached out to Lonzo and they’ve gotten much closer throughout this. He’s really tried to help him through this.”

Some say this is nothing but tactics to stay on the team. We all know that Lonzo Ball was among the first to go to New Orleans in an exchange for Anthony Davis. The young player is also looking for an agent after eliminating Harrison Gaines. He also revealed something about signing with Nike.

“Whatever the kid decides to do, whatever brand he comes with next — if it’s with Nike, obviously we would welcome him,” LeBron said of this hint. “I love the fact that he’s taking control of his [stuff]. I mean… that’s what’s really, really dope to me. Once I saw that story, I just seen a kid turning into a man. ‘This is my career and I’m taking this… I done had enough. If I’m not going to be successful, I’m not going to be successful on my terms.’

“I love the kid regardless of what shoes he had on. But we shall see. I mean he plays well when he has on Nikes.”
