LeBron James Reacts On Seeing Lil Wayne, I Promise Students as Virtual Fans

LeBron James saw some special I Promise fans at the game Wednesday night. The Los Angeles Lakers are struggling in the NBA bubble. The are coming off of a stomping to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Now, they found themselves losing to the Houston Rockets. But not only are they losing, they are getting manhandled completely. They are going to need to figure some things out if they want to make it to the Finals this year.

The NBA bubble has been working great so far. It is one of the only pro sports to not have a positive COVID test since the season restarted. This is great news and means that we can continue to watch basketball. It is a bit different with no fans in the stands, however.

One thing the NBA has tried to do is add virtual fans to the arena. In one of the last Lakers’ games, there were some special fans there, especially for LeBron.

In the stands was not only the rapper Lil’ Wayne. But there were also some students from I Promise, LeBron’s school.

“My mom texted me after the game and told me,” LeBron said after the game. “I didn’t get a chance to see them. But I seen, my mom sent me a clip of it after the game. And that was pretty, pretty cool.”

This is pretty cool that the NBA is able to make this work. It has been very interesting to see the different virtual fans watching the game so far this season. This should give LeBron and the Lakers some good motivation going forward.

The “I Promise” School is a public elementary school started with the help of LeBron James. With LeBron’s aid, it aims to help low income families put their kids through school, all the way through college.

This is pretty cool stuff. LeBron has always used his voice to help those that are less fortunate. Hopefully seeing these kinds will help him stay on track in the bubble.
