Bill Belichick Revelas Reason Why He Agreed Starring in Subway Commercial

Bill Belichick has revealed why he agreed to starring in a Subway commercial recently. The New England Patriots are still in the midst of a tough training camp. They are trying to get anyone they can that they think will help them get back on track in 2020. The 2019 season was a pretty disappointing season all around so they definitely want to get back on track quickly.

But there is more than just the off season that is on everyone’s minds apparently. Bill Belichick has recently starred in a new commercial. Not just any company would hire Belichick. He is well known for not having a sense of humor. However, Belichick recently came out, explaining his reasoning behind taking a new commercial deal.

Bill Belichick Revelas Reason Why He Agreed Starring in Subway Commercial

Bill Belichick is a big sandwhich person I guess,

The New England Patriots head coach recently was in a new Subway commercial that came out on Tuesday morning. The commercial showed Belichick having fun with himself as well as his famous sweatshirt style.

So, many people might be wondering why Belichick might be coming outside of his comfort zone.

“When Subway reached out, shared the Footlong Season campaign objectives and the ideas for the commercial, I decided the timing was right to have some fun and enjoy some sandwiches,” Belichick said in a press release.

This could be his acting career getting started, most people think. It sounds like this is just the beginning.

Belichick has been busy recently. He has been especially busy with newly signed quarterback Cam Newton. He recently talked about what he has seen recently.

“He’s worked very hard, I’d say, as all of our players have,” Belichick said. “I’d say that certainly for all the quarterbacks, at that position, those guys have been locked in, focused and confident in what they’re able to do and the information they have to give to the team — playcalling, adjustments, audibles, protection adjustments, things like that. That’s all going pretty well.”

It seems like Belichick has come out of his comfort zone a bit. What do you think about what he had to say?
