LeBron James Tweets Message For Dodgers After World Series Game 1 Win

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James won his fourth ring a couple of weeks ago, and now he is focused on the Dodgers and their chance to win a championship. The team has a great chance to win a title, and LeBron is more than excited about it. Last night, the Dodgers won Game 1 of the World Series. It was a good 8-3 defeat of the Tampa Bay Rays.

The four-time NBA champion took to his Twitter account to share his thoughts of the game. LeBron shared a message to the team after the big win, and didn’t forget to mention a few big names.

“1 down! [Clayton Kershaw] was himself (which is AMAZING), Mookie Betts did it all, Cody Bellinger went yard again and the whole team was simply damn good! #OnToTheNextOne,” LeBron wrote.

LeBron James and Los Angeles to celebrate the Dodgers

If the team closes out the World Series, LA will hold the MLB and NBA titles at the same time for the first time since 1988-89.

The Dodgers won the World Series in Oct. 1988. The Lakers were defending champions that year after smashing the Detroit Pistons in the NBA Finals in June that year.

LeBron and his team won the title after defeating the Miami Heat. It was a long series, but the Lakers had great success against the team. Jimmy Butler lost his grip in Game 6, and Heat players couldn’t really match LeBron’s greatness. It was a big bite to swallow.

LA players have plenty of time to rest and relax for the tough offseason. Some players may leave the team, making room for some new names.

LeBron will have plenty of time to follow the Dodgers and their games. LA will have two reasons to celebrate if the Dodgers win their championship. Let’s see what happens in the next few games. It’s a great opportunity for the talented team.

LeBron’s Lakers will have to pack the roster with great talents. Losing Anthony Davis would be a disaster. Several veterans are also set to opt-out of their player option. It’s time for some great moves.
