Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James wished Phoenix Suns guard Chris Paul a happy birthday and NBA fans noticed it. Well, we know that LeBron can attract everyone’s attention. He has the right words for each situation. He did it again.

The 36-year-old has an excellent relationship with Paul. They have been close for many years. Paul and LeBron haven’t played on the same team. However, they did compete together on an international stage. LeBron knows Paul really well, and he appreciates his greatness on the floor. Greatness recognizes greatness, right?

LeBron James celebrates his friend’s birthday

Both LeBron and Paul are contenders in the Western Conference. Paul leads the Suns to the second-best record in the NBA. That’s not something you underestimate.

In his first season with the Suns, Paul was averaging 16.2 points, 8.8 assists, 4.5 boards, and 1.4 steals per game. Phoenix has a 47-19 record in the regular season. Impressive, isn’t it?

When it comes to LeBron, he is out due to an ankle issue. The four-time NBA champion returned to game action but re-aggravated his injury and will have to miss a few more games. This is far from ideal for the Los Angeles Lakers. The team entered the regular season as the top seed but slipped to No.6.

LeBron is averaging 25.0 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 7.8 assists per game in the regular season.

LA has a 37-28 record at this point of the season. LeBron would love to go up from the current seed. Lakers players have just a few games left on the schedule.

Paul and his team will do their best to stay on the top. They will challenge other NBA teams for the top position. LeBron will do the same with his team. Things got really hot in the NBA and everyone is doing their best.
