Lakers Star LeBron James Makes 2-Word Statement On Health

The Los Angeles Lakers had a 3-1 lead over the Memphis Grizzlies, but lost Game 5 and things got a little complicated. LeBron James didn’t have his best night and Lakers fans are a bit worried about his health. Is he dealing with an injury?

In the 116-99 loss to the Grizzlies, LeBron delivered 15 points and five turnovers on 5-of-17 shooting and hit just one of his nine 3-pointers. Let’s not forget that LeBron returned from his foot injury a little sooner than expected. Well, the king feels good.

“I’m good”, the four-time NBA champion said following the Game 5 loss. Game 6 is right around the corner and hopefully, LeBron will feel better.

“It’s two days from now. I have no idea,” he said. “Obviously, I’ll take care of my body and try to get as much sleep as I can and see how fast my body can recover to get ready Friday. So, we’ll see.”

Lakers teammates aren’t worried about LeBron James’ health

LeBron’s series go up and down. He was brilliant in Game 4, but things got really bad in Game 5. Head coach Darvin Ham will try a different approach in the upcoming game and maybe give the king of basketball more space on the offensive end.

“We got plenty of stuff in our package to be able to give him different areas to be in attack mode from,” Ham said. “But Bron is one of the greatest to ever do it. We’ll definitely put our heads together and figure out the best plan of action.”

Davis trusts his teammate and there’s zero concern about his health and overall performance.

“After Game 2, when I played like crap, I had my head down and he was telling me to keep my head up,” Davis said after scoring 31 points and 19 rebounds. “And I kind of just relayed that same message to him tonight. You have the most points scored ever, you’re the best basketball player to ever touch the court. So, it’s fine. He’ll be fine. He’ll adjust. Get better.”
