Patriots Show Interest In Potential Franchise Quarterback

The New England Patriots will get to choose their first players within a few days and the team has shown interest in several great players, including a potential franchise quarterback. Would Will Levis from the Kentucky Wildcats find his spot in New England?

Mike Giardi reported that the Patriots are really interested in the quarterback prospect. Let’s not forget that Levis met with the Patriots on April 19 and attracted the attention of several key members of the organization. In his two seasons at Kentucky, Levis had 5,243 passing yards and 43 passing touchdowns.

Fun fact? Levis attracted the attention of several teams. He is a top prospect, and the same goes to Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, and Anthony Richardson. NFL analysts believe that Levis won’t be available on the board by the time Belichick gets to pick his player. The Patriots have the 14h overall pick this time which turns Levis into an unrealistic option for the team. Levis met the Carolina Panthers and Las Vegas Raiders, but the results are a bit… mild?

If the Patriots are lucky enough, they can get Levis later in the round.

Patriots have questions about their franchise quarterback

The Patriots are in a rather uncomfortable position with Mac Jones. The Alabama quarterback got into a thing with the offensive staff and let’s just say he wasn’t really brilliant in his second season with the Patriots. Bailey Zappe delivered a great performance as a replacement for Jones, putting the signal caller into a shaky position with the Patriots.

Belichick contacted several teams early in the offseason. He tried to shop Jones, but we can’t ignore the fact that Robert Kraft likes him. The Patriots also hired Bill O’Brien and his experience with Jones could change the entire perspective in New England.

The Patriots would gladly check out their options ahead of the new season. They will have to make a few changes and turn the 2023 roster into a dominant force in the division. Let’s see what happens in a few weeks.
