Tom Brady Rumors Heat Up Amid Ex Teammate Comments

Tom Brady makes headlines with every move he makes and a former teammate is already spreading new rumors.

The former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is officially retired. He returned to the field after his initial retirement decision, but says he will stay retired for good.

Buccaneers safety Antoine Winfield Jr. is not buying this one. It all started when the Patriots said they will honor the GOAT in the Week 1 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. If you Winfield Jr., he will say the Patriots are actually trying to bring Brady back for another season.

“I’m sure we’re still reaching out to him trying to see if he’s trying to come back to the team,” Winfield said on The Richard Sherman Podcast. “Hey, it could happen. Anything’s possible.”

Sherman couldn’t agree more. He wouldn’t “put nothing past Brady,” adding that the retired quarterback is “a crazy guy.”

“It’s up in the air, man,” Winfield added.

Brady could prove his teammate right and follow these rumors

Brady is pretty busy right now. He spends a lot of time with his family and yes, has all the time in this world to take care of his business. Here is a fun fact… Brady could easily jump on board with the Las Vegas Raiders as a member of the management. His potential partnership with the organization made a lot of headlines early in the offseason. The former Patriots quarterback hasn’t confirmed this possibility, meaning it is not official yet.

Will Brady return to the NFL field as a veteran quarterback again?

He was brilliant with the Patriots and won a Super Bowl in his first season with the Buccaneers. He can perform at a high level, but the quarterback will have to play smart and make the right decision this time. Brady didn’t have the best performance in 2019, but ended up winning his seventh ring with the Buccaneers.

One thing stands for sure. It was a wild ride for the Patriots quarterback and he enjoyed every minute of it. Brady gave his best in his 23 seasons in the NFL and we’d definitely want to see more from him.
