The Patriots Ran Coolest Blocked Field Goal Play Fans Have Ever Seen

The New England Patriots couldn’t find a solution to the Miami Dolphins despite making some adjustments. It was a second consecutive loss for the Patriots, but they did earn some respect for a blocked field goal play.

A Patriots player was running off the edge and rushed into the line of scrimmage. It was a great play and the player managed to get around the offensive line without any trouble.

The NFL world praised head coach Bill Belichick and his team for the wonderful play. The Patriots lost this one, but this play was more like a warning to the rest of the world. Belichick is not joking and neither are his players.

“That blocked FG legit one of the most entertaining moments of the season so far. Like half the viewing audience at home had to be screaming watching it develop in real time,” ESPN’s Mina Kimes tweeted.

“When I saw him running towards the kick I thought he was late coming onto the field but then it became clear what he was doing. Super cool,” former NFL lineman Geoff Schwartz tweeted.

Patriots blocked a field goal, but Miami got the best of the game

The Patriots elevated a few players to the Week 2 squad, trying to improve their situation at receiver. Did it work? Not really. The Dolphins built a 17-3 lead in the first half. Hunter Henry and Rhamondre Stevenson supported the scoring game, but Miami secured this win early in the game.

New England has to work on the defensive end of the game. Defensive players struggled in the third quarter.

The offense struggled as well. Players made untimely mistakes and struggled with execution.

Patriots started the season 0-2 for the first time since 2001. The New York Jets are next on the list and yes, it is a tough one.

Patriots players need to turn the page and get back on track. They can’t add another loss to their chart. It was a slow start of the season, but Patriots have enough time to fix the damage.
