Bill Belichick Hints At Patriots Changes After Latest Blowout Loss

Several NFL analysts would agree that the New England Patriots will lose their season if they don’t make any changes. That’s exactly what Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is up to and he is definitely not happy with the most recent loss. A lot of things happened in the Week 4 game against the New Orleans Saints and things got little complicated for both players and coaches.

Patriots players suffered a 0-34 loss to the Saints and let’s not forget it was a home game. Belichick is expected to make some roster changes and he may even adjust his coaching staff. Of course, he didn’t reveal much during his press conference on Monday, but he did drop some details.

“We need to make some improvements from where we are, so we’ll see what all that entails,” Belichick said. “Haven’t gotten into it yet, but we will.”

Belichick and Patriots players will try to avoid another loss

Belichick is a man of a few words and he doesn’t like talking in advance. Players will probably watch film and detect all the mistakes they made on the field. That would be a good start of the whole process. A lot of things need to be improved and Belichick sure has a few ideas on the table. The same goes to team owner Robert Kraft.

“The main focus here is to get things better,” Belichick said. “To move the ball, to take care of the ball. To move the ball and score points. So, that’s really what we’re going to focus on.”

Belichick did experiment with his roster and he will probably move things around a bit. Players need to improve in every aspect and yes, staying healthy is a priority right now. The Patriots can’t lose another key player.

Cornerback J.C. Jackson is back in the fold and the Patriots will probably make a few more moves. JuJu Smith-Schuster and Demario Douglas sustained head injuries and may not join their teammates in the upcoming game.

The Patriots are entering a challenging phase, but they can definitely overcome this obstacle.
