The Lakers have been linked to several players in the last few seasons. Now may be the perfect time to make a move.

Who is the first person to join the team? Could it be Zach LaVine? He’s been mentioned as a trade target for quite some time. Getting LaVine makes perfect sense for the team. Well, some analysts have different opinion on this scenario.

LeBron and the Lakers could benefit from these trades

The Lakers cannot make a trade move until December 15. Their tradeable assets are eligible for a trade starting this date. General Manager Rob Pelinka could trade Gabe Vincent, Jalen Hood-Schifino, and Max Christie. If the Lakers decide to go after a big name, they could use D’Angelo Russell, Rui Hachimura, Jarred Vanderbilt or even Austin Reaves. Yes, the Lakers said they won’t trade Reaves at any point.

If the Lakers don’t trade for LaVine, they should trade for former Lakers star Alex Caruso. This makes even more sense for the franchise. Caruson knows the team and has been able to contribute at a high level.
