Lakers’ Superstar LeBron James Has Fans Thinking Trades With Frustrated Comments

The Los Angeles Lakers suffered a big blow in the game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Fans were frustrated and so were players. LeBron James couldn’t hide his disappointment and gave fans a reason to predict potential trades for the franchise.

The Lakers have been linked to several players in the last few seasons. Now may be the perfect time to make a move.

LeBron received a lot of questions following the game. Some of the questions were related to all the necessary changes LA has to make to improve the game. He said, “a lot.” Reporters asked the same question again, but LeBron doubled down on it.

The four-time NBA champion has been around for a really long time. He understands the game and his latest comment may motivate the front office to make a move.

Who is the first person to join the team? Could it be Zach LaVine? He’s been mentioned as a trade target for quite some time. Getting LaVine makes perfect sense for the team. Well, some analysts have different opinion on this scenario.

“Cue the Zach LaVine rumors,” Harrison Faigen of Silver Screen and Roll wrote on Twitter (X).

Fans jumped on the train and spoke their mind on the situation in LA. A lot of them want the Lakers to make a trade move. Yes, some of them can imagine LaVine on Darvin Ham’s roster.

“Watching Lebron’s post game statements in the locker room tonight it’s giving Chicago Bulls trades, big time,” another fan wrote.

LeBron and the Lakers could benefit from these trades

The Lakers cannot make a trade move until December 15. Their tradeable assets are eligible for a trade starting this date. General Manager Rob Pelinka could trade Gabe Vincent, Jalen Hood-Schifino, and Max Christie. If the Lakers decide to go after a big name, they could use D’Angelo Russell, Rui Hachimura, Jarred Vanderbilt or even Austin Reaves. Yes, the Lakers said they won’t trade Reaves at any point.

If the Lakers don’t trade for LaVine, they should trade for former Lakers star Alex Caruso. This makes even more sense for the franchise. Caruson knows the team and has been able to contribute at a high level.

Alex Caruso would be huge for the Lakers, and a guard that can score not named Zach LaVine,” one fan wrote.

“Trade Prince & Gabe for Caruso, fire Ham and hire Mark Jackson and we win the title… SIMPLE,” another added.
