Anthony Davis, Lakers Open Road Trip With Great Comeback Win Vs. Bucks Without LeBron James

The Los Angeles Lakers went against the Milwaukee Bucks without LeBron James and won the game. The team won their second game against Giannis Antetokounmpo’s team and it was brilliant. Lakers players elevated their performance and Anthony Davis embraced his leadership role in the win over the Bucks.

AD and his squad were able to erase a 19-point deficit in the fourth quarter, taking the game in double-overtime. It was an amazing 128-124 win over the Bucks and an excellent start of the road trip. Head coach Darvin Ham said, “It was a great way to start off a six-game trip.”

According to Ham, the great win was one of the three best wins in the season. The Lakers needed this win badly and now have a 40-32 record, securing their ninth seed in the Western Conference.

Lakers players will have an opportunity to add another win to their chart, but they do need to beat the Memphis Grizzlies.

Davis led the Lakers to a win over the Bucks

It’s interesting to note that the NBA analysts expected the Lakers to lose the game. Well, AD, Austin Reaves, D’Angelo Russell and the rest of the guys put up quite a party at Fiserv Forum.

Lakers trailed the Bucks and had to secure their win with 7 minutes left of the game. Players already trailed the Bucks 94-83 and managed to win the game.

“Coach always gives us the first five to six minutes (of the fourth) to try to cut the lead down,” said Davis. “From that point, we feel like we had the momentum. Kept chipping away. Kept getting stops. Making shots on the other end. A 20-point lead in this league now, it’s nothing.”

Bucks players weren’t playing their best ball and Giannis even missed some key free throws. It was a wild end of the game and Davis tried to neutralize Damian Lillard. Reaves sealed the win with a three-point shot.
