Rob Gronkowski Has Big Problems at Patriots, And It’s Bad

Rob Gronkowski had a magnificent year, and the New England Patriots enjoyed a successful season. The football player was in a good shape, and he did pretty well in fourteen games. Gronkowski’s per-game numbers were also in line with his typical production. You’d all agree that he was the best tight end in football.

The season was amazing, and Rob Gronkowski was successful, regardless of what the media says and hopes for.
However, Doug Farrar of Bleacher Report decided to name all the players who will have a disappointing season, and guess what… Gronkowski is on his list. Farrar has a few good reasons to say so. He deals with serious health and contractual concerns.

“He did play 14 regular-season games last year, catching 69 passes on 105 targets for 1,084 yards and eight touchdowns, and he was certainly New England’s most effective player in the Patriots’ loss to the Eagles in Super Bowl LII, catching nine passes for 116 yards and two second-half touchdowns,” he said.

“That said, between his injury history, the potential end of his career and the Patriots’ possible interest in moving on without him, one wonders if we’ll ever see the best of Gronkowski again. When he’s been on and healthy, he’s quite possibly the best receiving tight end in NFL history, but there are a lot of complications ahead of this season,” Farrar added.

There’s still a potential for an injury with the tight end. Although he’s been healthy for quite a long time now, there is a huge possibility that he hurts himself again.

Gronkowski’s contract is problematic, too.

The team could really do good without all these problems. Regardless of what everyone says, Gronkowski is the best tight end in the league, and he can offer a lot more. We really think that he won’t have a disappointing season.
