Everything points to the fact that James just couldn’t go back to Cleveland. Wonder why? It’s because his mom said so.

So, James left the Cavs and flew in a completely different direction. He ditched the team twice in his career, and this time it was actually painless. We all remember how Dan Gilbert reacted to James’ decision to leave the Cavs. He called him traitor. James’ mom didn’t share the same opinion.

During a recent episode of Uninterrupted, LeBron said that this particular letter had a huge impact on his decision, but he couldn’t do it. He couldn’t go back to the Cavaliers. Yes, his family said the same.

“My wife was like, ‘f*ck that. I ain’t with that’… My mom was definitely like, ‘f*ck that. We ain’t going back,” James said.
