Rob Gronkowski Comments On James Harrison’s Theory About Patriots Friction

If you ask Rob Gronkowski about his current position in Foxboro, he will tell you that everything is just fine.

Gronkowski had an interview with The MMQB Ben Baskin, and talked about the rumors of all the tension between quarterback Tom Brady, head coach Bill Belichick and owner Robert Craft.

So, Baskin asked the tight end about the theory released by former Patriots linebacker James Harrison during his appearance on Fox Sports 1’s “Undisputed.”

“James Harrison had a quote recently that all of the “friction” around the Patriots this offseason was made up in order to get the team to become closer together, to build stronger bonds. Was he onto something with that?” Baskin asked

“He’s definitely onto something. But I feel like you have to give him a call. Everyone sees everything different. I can’t speak for him or explain what he meant,” Gronk responded.

Then he rushed to give a rather diplomatic answer. We didn’t need any of that. It’s more than clear that Gronk supports Harrison’s theory about the craziness associated with all the stories we heard about lately.

When Baskin if there happened to be more issues during the offseason, Gronk says he feels “like it’s the same every year.”

“You just block out those distractions. I have to focus on what I can control and what I can do,” he added.

The 29-year-old tight end also spoke about his retirement speculations. “I was seeing how I was recovering, how my body was feeling. Taking a little break mentally and physically from the game. Just seeing how I felt and seeing if I wanted to do it another year and if I was able to endure another season. That was the main thing. I feel like I’m ready to go, physically and mentally,” Gronk said.

Should we add more? Is it clear enough?
