Kobe Revealed What He Told LeBron After He Signed In L.A.

LeBron James signed a four-year contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, and put the NBA on fire. Everyone had an opinion on his bold decision, including the NBA legend Kobe Bryant.

According to him, King James only joined the Lakers to win more championship. Well, we’ve hear a lot about this championship-hunt thing. His fans may disapprove LeBron’s new deal, but Kobe sure respects the king. He’s been cordial with LeBron on and off the basketball court.

Bryant had an interview with Rich Eisen after the celebration of his 40th birthday. He opened several topics, including LeBron’s landing with the Lakers.

The five-time NBA champion didn’t forget to mention the message he had for LeBron upon his moving to Los Angeles.

“I talked to him the day it was announced. I said, ‘Welcome to LA, now you’re part of the family. if you ever need anything whatsoever, you know where to find me. I’m right here.’ I was excited for him,” Bryant said.

He was super critical of the vandals who destroyed LeBron’s murals in Los Angeles. “Listen, if you’re a fan of mine, you’re a fan of winning. You’re a fan of the Lakers. I bleed purple and gold. So that’s above anything else, I’ve been a Laker fan since I was yay-high. That’s never going to change. And it’s about winning championships. So, they’ll fall in line,” Kobe said.

What’s the Lakers’ final goal with LeBron James in the frame? Kobe is well aware of it. “I think the goal is to ultimately win championships. No matter where you go, that’s the goal. And that’s his goal, that’s Rob’s goal, that’s Magic’s goal, that’s Jeanie’s goal, Rondo, all the guys.”

Kobe is right. The Lakers have had enough of their “smooth sailing.” It’s time to win championships, and LeBron will sure help them turn their dream into reality.
