Malcolm Mitchell Shares Heartfelt Goodbye Message To NE Patriots on Instagram

Macolm Mitchell is leaving the New England Patriots, and said ‘goodbye’ in an emotional message posted on his Instagram account.

The two season miracle is over now, and we all know that Malcolm Mitchell has only one healthy campaign. Although the injury-prone wideout spend so little time with the Pats, he sure had an impact on the game.

The Patriots released Mitchell after he had several knee issues. Mitchell’s problems with his knee kept him out of the 2018 campaign, and he missed the 2017 season.

Now Mitchell decided to send a heartfelt goodbye message to New England, and his Instagram fans witnessed all the emotions he released in the note.

Mitchell thanked his fans and the organization for the game that included a Super Bowl title in 2016.

“New England, thank you! My heart hurts, but I smile when thinking about all the love, support and patience you have given me. To the community this is not goodbye, it’s I’ll see you later. Go Pats!” Mitchell wrote in the post.

The wideout was a four-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. It was more than clear that Malcolm has a promising start to his career in the league. He had 32 receptions for 401 yards, and four touchdowns in the 14 games he played.

We can’t forget Mitchell’s last game with the Patriots. It was the best in his young career, and Malcolm had six receptions and 70 receiving yards. He had a key role in the Pats’ improbable victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI. Mitchell had five catches for 63 yards in the fourth quarter of the game. He was awesome. Too bad that he has to go now.

Mitchell’s injuries derailed his career with the Pats, but his amazing postseason contributions are defining his spot as a key contributor in the most brilliant comeback in the NFL history.
