Patriots’ Insurance Policy For Thin Receiver Group Revealed

New England Patriots are having a rough game with their receiving unit.

The team released Kenny Britt, and he’s the third wide out to leave Foxboro due to an injury. Head coach Bill Belichick didn’t quite like the idea that Britt has to join Malcolm Mitchell and Jordan Matthews. But, the man had to go. The Patriots have a few receivers left, including Julian Edelman, Chris Hogan, Cordarrelle Patterson, Phillip Dorset and Eric Decker. Let’s not forget that Julian Edelman will sit out the first month of the regular season.

This may not be the toughest of all units, but quarterback Tom Brady and the rest of the guys should do the job.

The Patriots don’t depend on receivers only. There are a few great players in the backfield and at the tight end spot. This could change the game. Rob Gronkowski, James White, Rex Burkhead, and Jacob Hollister will take care of Belichick’s winning plan.

Gronk is the only player to start off and put an end to the receiving game. We all know that Brady and Gronk can bring the victory on their own. Their chemistry is the fuel of the winning machine in the team. Maybe Brady will find a way to connect with some of the new wide outs.

James White is a go-to option in the passing game, and he seems to be doing a good job with Brady. That’s what happened in the second preseason game.

Jacob Hollister is here, too. Both Tom and Belichick have high opinion of the second year man, and Brady worked with him during camp.

Let’s see how will the new plan work. The Patriots will have to secure their game in the first month until Edelman returns. They have a bunch of great players, so it won’t be hard for them to win the games.
