Robert Kraft Had a Huge Surprise For 200 Children In Need
About 200 kids were thrilled to enjoy their tour of the Gillette Stadium Monday afternoon, but there was a much bigger surprise waiting for them. New England Patriots team owner Robert Kraft decided to do a little thing for the kids, and they sure loved it!
The Bed-Zone Bash is a special event, and those kids received the most special treatment ever. The Patriots Charitable Foundation and Bob’s Discount Furniture surprised kids from Lynn and Salem. Robert Kraft gave each of the kids a brand new Patriots-themed bed. The best part came when the lucky kids saw their names on the beds. So amazing!
The Mass Coalition for the Homeless initiative ‘A Bed For Every Child’ selected the kids, as confirmed by Pats’ lifestyle editor Angelique Fiske.

All of these kids have no idea what's waiting for them on the other side of the room. Great event by the @patriots and @MyBobs. A bed for every child. 200 of them. #Patriots #Bob'sDiscountFurniture… pic.twitter.com/ztMGyflfXZ

It’s sad how some kids still don’t have a bed. That’s the sad story of the kids from Lynn and Salem. But, now they have gorgeous beds with the Pats logo, and the Pajama Program also provided pajamas for each of the sweethearts. It’s an organization that helps children in need by giving them clean pajamas.

This wasn’t the end of the surprise. The kids also watched a screening of Despicable Me 3, and participated in many activities. There was a session of face painting, caricature art and football-themed games.

The beds were sent to the kids’ homes. In this way they will all have a cozy bed to rest.
This should be an example for other team owners and athletes. There are so many kids in this world that need their help. Isn’t it sad that some kids still don’t have a place to live? Others don’t know if they will ever have a decent meal. The world has become a cruel place, and we have to do our best to stop the chaos.
