Look: Kevin Love Spent His 30th Birthday With LeBron

Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love celebrated his 30th birthday on Friday. The Cavs training camp is set to start on Sept. 25, and Love used his free days to celebrate his birthday and spend some time with his friends and family. LeBron was there, too.

LeBron James left Cleveland to join the Los Angeles Lakers, but this had no impact on his friendship with his former teammate. Kevin Love and LeBron James were friends even before they became teammates with the Cavaliers in 2014.

Both basketball stars were members of the 2012 US men’s basketball team which won the gold medal at the London Summer Olympics. King James decided to join the Cavs again, and fueled the idea of acquiring Love from the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Love and LeBron led the Cavs to four consecutive appearances in the NBA Finals, and the team won the first-ever league title in 2016. It was a game to remember, and we’ll never forget the photo of Love and LeBron hugging eachother after the final buzzer in Game 7 went on.

LeBron joined the Lakers earlier this summer, and love also had a busy offseason. He signed a four-year extension with the Cavaliers worth $120 million. Love is also embracing the concept of increasing the awareness of mental health issues. The NBA star wrote a powerful article for The Player’s Tribune, offering an insight into his struggle with anxiety and other issues.

The friendship of LeBron and Love will never end despite the fact that they play in different teams. But, it will be more than interesting to see them play against each other on the basketball court. Will this friendship turn into a rivalry? Probably not. Great friends never go wrong, and Love is a good friend of King James. So, hame on, guys!
