Kyle Kuzma Commends Lakers Teammate For ‘Big Balls’ Move

The Los Angeles Lakers did an amazing job against the New York Knicks. Players did really well but Talen Horton-Tucker was the star of the show. Yes, THT didn’t play his best game against the Knicks, but he helped the team when they needed him the most. Kyle Kuzma watched the brilliant game and now he comments his teammate for the great shot.

The second-year Lakers guard showed great move with his clutch 3-pointer. THT hit the ball with seconds left to seal the overtime win. LA celebrated a 101-99 victory.

Lakers players praised his game and Kuzma commended him for the courage.

“Man, you know, THT made a huge shot. He’s got some big b****for that one,” Kuzma said in his postgame interview. “Stepback 3, nothing but net with the game on the line. It was just great.”

Kyle Kuzma commends LA teammate, LeBron James chimes in

LeBron James took notice of the brilliant shot and wrote THT on Twitter. Horton-Tucker finished the night with 13 points, 10 assists and five rebounds.

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel was happy to see THT’s confidence on the floor.

“He really stepped up. He had a young-player type of night, with a lot of good play, bad play situations, in particular down the stretch,” Vogel told reporters. “But I love that he kept his poise and didn’t get down on himself. He remained confident.”

Horton-Tucker shocked his teammates and coaches. To make things even better, he did this against his childhood idol.

“He’s got big guts,” Vogel said. “And he showed that with that shot against his favorite player growing up in Derrick Rose.”

The talented guard was impressed too.

“Not too many kids from Chicago can say that they did that,” Horton-Tucker said after the game.

Anthony Davis gave us a scare when he hobbled to the finish line. He was hit in the face and felt some tightness in the group. The big man declared himself questionable for the next game.

“Not sure about tomorrow,” Davis said. “Gonna get treatment and see how it feels.”

Davis may be out but LeBron James is probably going back.

“We did some drill work. We did some contrived scrimmages, and we did a short, full scrimmage,” Vogel said. “And he did all of it.”
