Patriots fans have been speculating over Tom Brady’s retirement, and the quarterback decided to spoil the surprise in his Facebook series.
The Facebook series Tom vs. Time attracted everyone’s attention, and the latest 5-minute video says everything you should know about the New England Patriots quarterback and his retirement. Brady told everybody that he will play until 45, admitting that it won’t be easy at all.
“I would love to play five more years — 41, 42, 43, 44, 45 — it will be a challenge for me, I don’t think it’s going to be easy. It’s f—— going to be hard to do. I think it’s going to be very hard to do, but I think I can do it,” Brady said.
The quarterback helped the Patriots win five Super Bowls and he has three MVP awards. Brady still has a lot to offer despite being 41.
“Once you stop, you’re done and I think that I’m not ready to say I’m done, because I don’t feel like I am. I feel that there’s still things to accomplish. It’d be like getting close to the mountain and being like, ‘It’s good, I’m good.’ It’s like ‘No, you worked really hard to get to this point, you have to finish it off,'” Brady said.
“I think the last eight years of my career have been better than the first 10, so I should just prolong it and that’s what I’m trying to do,” he added.
The surprise episode was only five minutes and 14 seconds long, and it’s shorter than the other six episodes of the series.
Many believe that Brady will retire before he turns 45. Even his supermodel wife wants him retired. But, we’ll wait and see how will thing work out for the quarterback and his team.
