LeBron James Reveals The Lakers Philosophy For The Upcoming Season

The Los Angeles Lakers are about to start their new season, and LeBron James is here to do the magic. King James talked about his upcoming season with the Lakers, and revealed some of their plans.

“We want to be a positionless team. There’s going to be times where we are all playing different positions. That’s going to be the benefit of our ball club. Kuz at the 3-4-5, (Brandon Ingram) at the 1-through-5, myself at the 1-through five. (Michael Beasley) can play 2-through-5. We have a lot of guys that can play multiple positions. So it’s good, we just have to help rebound,” LeBron said.

The Lakers head coach Luke Walton emphasized the benefits of having several playmakers out on the basketball court.

“They’re all going to benefit from it. Everyone is going to be able to get easier looks because we have multiple, not just ball-handlers, but playmakers… everyone is going to benefit from it,” Walton said.

The head coach knows that this may not happen overnight, but he does believe that the team will develop into a championship contender by the postseason.

“September, probably not. Do I think come April, come playoff months? Absolutely I think we are. It takes time. You never just put a team together and they’re instantly a championship contender. That’s what the regular season is going to be all about this year. That’s what these guys coming in every day, playing together, getting to know each other, lifting weights together, is about. I think by the time the season comes and goes and we get towards the playoffs, if all goes the way we plan, then yeah, I truly believe we are,” Walton said.

LeBron fits well in the team. He played something over 15 minutes, and did a really good job on the basketball court.
