These Free Agents Signed With Patriots After Going Undrafted

The New England Patriots made a great number of signings on Saturday. They used their picks to grab players who are expected to fit in the 2024 roster and also decided to go check out the market. According to multiple sources, the Patriots addressed some of their issues by signing a bunch of undrafted free agents.

The undrafted free-agent market always hides the best of gems. Some players don’t get their name called during the draft for various reasons. Eliot Wolf and his squad did a thorough research and signed players who can contribute to the game at a higher level.

Here’s a list of all players who joined the Patriots as undrafted free agents.

Jett Bush, linebacker, Texas
Kaleb Ford-Dement, cornerback, Texas State
DeShaun Fenwick, running back, Oregon State
Zuri Henry, offensive tackle, UTEP
Jontrey Hunter, linebacker, Georgia State
John Morgan III, EDGE, Arkansas
Dell Pettus, safety, Troy
Charles Turner, offensive lineman, LSU
Mikey Victor, cornerback, Alabama State
Jacob Warren, tight end, Tennessee

The Patriots addressed major roster issues with their free agent haul. Over half of the undrafted players they signed will join a new-look Patriots defense.

Patriots have high expectations from their free agents

Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo is making calculations now. He’s got some big shoes to fill in and replacing Bill Belichick will not be that easy. He won’t really try to replace the GOAT among all coaches. Mayo respects Belichick’s legacy and he is here to help the Patriots win a title… in a different way.

New England was expected to trade down the 2024 NFL Draft. However, the team used the No.3 pick to fill out the quarterback void on their roster. Drake Maye was a top target in the quarterback class and the Patriots were determined to get him. The Minnesota Vikings wanted him, too. They even made offers, but the Patriots were locked in on Maye. He was their quarterback and there wouldn’t let him go.
