Kyrie Irving To Lakers: LeBron James Told Of Surprise Summer Plan In Free Agency

The Los Angeles Lakers have set their eyes on several players, including Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard and a few other All-Stars.

There’s a huge possibility that Irving ends up in Los Angeles. He has already played alongside LeBron James, and their relationship is good at the moment. The Celtics star even apologized LeBron for his behavior in Cleveland. The reunion of Irving and LeBron may be the solution to pretty much every problem Los Angeles has at the moment.

NBA Hall of Famer Mitch Richmond says that Irving will probably choose between the Lakers and New York Knicks.

The Celtics will have to try extra hard in the playoffs as the Milwaukee Bucks are really serious about their game. They are now 3-1 down in series and the next defeat will take them out of the postseason.

This triggered all the rumors regarding Irving’s future plans and his pending free agency. He had 52 points, but his performance wasn’t as great as it used to be. According to former players, his body language says that he is ready to leave the team this summer. The Celtics are favorites, and the Brooklyn Nets are also considered an option for the Celtics player.

“That’s one of the places I’m pretty sure that he’s looking at,” Richmond said The Rich Eisen Show. “I mean, there and New York. No question about it, he wants to be the man on a team. With LeBron, LeBron let him be him. When you get a little older, you need that guy that can go and get his shot any time he possibly can. I think that’s what LeBron was missing with this [Lakers] team.

“It struggled at times when he wanted to rest and he wanted to sit back and he didn’t have that guy that can really go and get him 35 and kind of win the game. If you go back to the time they beat the Warriors (in the 2016 NBA Finals), LeBron had a great series but it was that one game that Kyrie put them over the top.”

Let’s see what happens this summer.
