Jay Glazer: Rob Gronkowski Could Return To Pats This Season

Former Patriots tight end enjoys his retirement, but he also worked out with quarterback Tom Brady. What does that mean? Will Gronk return to the field? Jay Glazer is one of the greatest NFL insiders, and he believes that Gronk will unretire.

Gronk hasn’t been active for quite some time, but Glazer isn’t worried about that. According to him, “Gronk could retire for 10 years and come back and still dominate. He is ridiculous.” We couldn’t agree more.

The former tight end talked to Rich Eisen about his retirement, and it looks like he won’t change his mind in near future.

“There’s definitely going to be times when you miss it and everything,” Gronkowski Rich Eisen when asked about the start of the season. “I would always say that it’s still the offseason right now. I mean I can’t really say how I’m going to feel about it when the games start rolling around and everything. You know, I just felt like it was time. I feel really good right now and it was just definitely something I thought it was the right time and the right thing to do.” 

Gronk enjoys every minute of his free time. He has never had his August off, and he will have his entire summer off this year. The retired tight end and his girlfriend, Swimsuit supermodel Camille Kostek, are on a vacation.

“You want to know something? I never had an August off in my life. So, it’s gonna be a little different,” Gronkowski said. “That’s when it’s gonna start really seeing the change is when that comes around in August when I’m not in training camp; I might not know what to do with myself. “To have that load off your back, I mean I’ve been playing football for 15 years straight in a row of that grind. Just relaxing right now feels good.”

The Patriots may do really well without Gronk, but they will sure use his help next season. Gronk is irreplaceable, and everyone knows it, including head coach Bill Belichick.
