Tom Brady Jumps Off Cliff, Roast Max Kellerman In Comments On Latest Instagram Post

Tom Brady keeps jumping off a cliff. Was Max Kellerman right this whole time? Of course not. The Patriots quarterback enjoys his family vacation in Costa Rica, and jumped backward of a rocky ledge.

That’s not all. The little Vivi is there, too. The video was about her being an Olympic champion one day.

“If Vivi is going to be an Olympic champion one day, it probably won’t be in synchronized diving. Daddy always gives her a 10 thought,” Brady wrote.

This post was perfect for Brady. He got his sweet revenge, and Kellerman was asking for it.

“I didn’t want to be the first Brady to fall off a cliff,” he wrote in the comments.

Well, Kellerman insists that Brady’s performance has declined.

“First of all, the eyeball test tells you he’s not the same,” he said recently. “Secondly, if you look into the numbers, it verifies it. Highest interception total. Lowest TD rate since 2013. Lowest passer rating since 2014, in a year of record passing.

“…. Two things have conspired to make it look like he hasn’t fallen off a cliff. One, he’s playing for the greatest coach who ever lived, and they’ve compensated with run game, etcetera. And two, they’ve changed the rules in the NFL where you can’t touch the quarterback.

“…. In big situations, he’s still Tom Brady. He still has the clutch gene, and all those things, for sure. But he is much more of a game manager now than he’s been at any point since he was a young guy.”

The whole thing started when Kellerman said Brady would fall off a cliff.

“Doesn’t look good right now for me, but no I’m not,” he said of Brady in the preseason. “Let me give you a metaphor here, an analogy really. Remember the Roadrunner cartoons, guys? Roadrunner on [Looney Tunes]. And the coyote would be tricked into running off the cliff, right? Did he fall right away? No. He thought there was still ground under his feet. He didn’t realize there was no ground there. Then eventually he looked down and realized there was no ground there, and then he fell.

“Remember he would hold up the sign and stuff like that? And I think that’s where Tom Brady is right now. At this point, I think it is mind over matter. He’s in a great organization, he looks like he’s still got it. But that is the nature of the cliff. These guys — all of them — look like they’ve still got it until they realize, ‘Whoa, there’s no ground under my feet, and Father Time is undefeated.’ I don’t think Tom Brady will be a great quarterback this season, but I have to admit, Stephen A. [Smith], early evidence doesn’t look good for my prediction.”
